The Role - Technical Sales Representative
- Service existing customer base - meet with customer contacts, face to face at their office, to discuss their technical requirements and propose solutions
- Communicate with clients, and partners, regularly via email, virtual meetings & phone
- Actively identify and pursue new customers and grow overall business
- Provide a solid technical link between our suppliers and our customers
- Identify key business opportunities and drive to closure
- Maintain knowledge of products, technologies and trends, through a continuous self-learning process
- Build strong relationships within the customer base
- Report regularly, on all business activities, opportunities, and customer base dynamics
The Ideal candidate:
- A college/university graduate from an engineering or business program
- Has an interest in electronics & technology
- Has some technical or sales work experience, or both
- Has an aptitude for sales, the ability to quickly grasp an opportunity and the business acumen to understand its viability
- Thinks on his/her feet, offers creative solutions and sees objections as opportunities for further engagement
- Is enthusiastic, personable, a team player and a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, constantly changing, demanding environment
- Has excellent oral and written communication skills and an eye for detail
- Is fluent in English
- Clean driving record/license, access to a car and is computer literate (MS Office & CRM)

Remuneration
- Base salary - commensurate with experience
- Commission plan - based on sales achieved and quarterly business goals
- Car allowance
