Primary Focus
The UX/UI Specialist will be responsible for enhancing the user experience and user interface of our digital channels. This role involves conducting user research, designing and implementing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for our website, mobile applications, and other digital platforms. The specialist will consider customer needs and work closely with various departments to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience across all digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
- Leverage research insights to facilitate the design and development of new features and functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, and customer service to ensure cohesive and effective digital experiences.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas.
- Implement UX/UI best practices and stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies.
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
- Ensure all digital channels are accessible and meet usability standards.
- Present results, insights, requirements and designs in a compelling way to leadership and partner teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Familiarity with the design, setup and implementation of research utilizing various methods including but not limited to interviews.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous UX/UI design projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to think creatively and critically.
