Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Services Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing excellent customer service while assisting clients with a range of financial products and services. As a Financial Services Representative, you will help individuals and businesses navigate their financial needs, offering solutions such as investment advice, account management, and insurance products. Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others will be essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying and meeting their financial needs by recommending appropriate products and services, including savings accounts, loans, investments, insurance, and retirement plans
- Process and manage financial transactions for clients, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan applications
- Provide guidance to clients on budgeting, financial planning, and managing debt
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention
- Stay up-to-date with the latest financial products, market trends, and regulations to provide accurate and reliable advice
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals and performance targets by proactively promoting financial products and services
- Assist in resolving customer concerns and address inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to deliver exceptional service and meet client needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in financial services, banking, or customer service (preferred)
- Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Sales-driven with a passion for helping clients achieve financial success
Additional Requirements:
- Licenses in the Canadian Financial Industryan asset
- Ability to speak multiple languages preferred
