Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, dishes and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and answering any questions about the menu items.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling safety guidelines.
- Process payments through cashiering duties, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
- Help wash dishes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary to perform duties effectively.
