Junior Operations Specialist – Job Description
- We are seeking an Operations Specialist - Junior - to join our Enterprise Risk and Portfolio Management team.
- This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to the efficient operation of our business group.
- Performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, financial and human resources administration, and provides professional support to one or more Managers and their direct reports.
- The role ensures all administrative and operational processes and control standards are followed, while seeking to determine, develop, and participate in the implementation of improvement opportunities.
- Serves as part of the Operations Team for Enterprise Risk and Portfolio Management
- Processing employee transitions
- Intakes, onboarding & offboarding
- Internal transfers
- Utilize ServiceNow to log and resolve tickets
- Manage building access including badge management/allocation, floor headcounts, maintaining distribution lists for each team
- Oversee the provisioning of equipment and assets requested by internal teams
- Manage the floors they are on for each location
- Working with facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance are up to standard, and office/kitchen supplies are stocked
- Compliance including working with facilities to coordinate fire drills etc.
- Confirming desks that have been reserved are in use
Junior Operations Specialist – Mandatory Skills
- Previous experience in Operations 2+ years
- Previous experience in Customer Service 4+ years [can be any customer service-related role]
- Candidate must be detail-oriented and willing to take initiative without being directed
- Must have superior time management skills and the ability to be accountable for their own working schedule
- Candidate should be a people person and team player looking to foster a positive team culture as they will act as the point of contact for requests coming from all over Enterprise Risk and Portfolio Management
