Responsibilities:
Accommodation Coordination:
- Host Family Recruitment: Identify and recruit new host families and student residences that meet CIS homestay policy standards.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with host families to ensure student satisfaction.
- Homestay Inspection: Conduct site visits to assess and approve homestay accommodations in line with CIS policies.
- Booking and Placement: Arrange and confirm student accommodation bookings by collaborating with the CIS sales team and agents.
- Documentation Management: Ensure student accommodation contracts and related documents are accurate and up to date to comply with LC inspection requirements.
Student Activities Coordination:
- Activity Scheduling: Plan and organize after-school and weekend activities to enrich student experiences.
- Information Support: Provide students with essential information on life in Toronto, including local transportation, cultural practices, and recreational opportunities.
- Engagement and Well-being: Promote engagement through activities that foster community, cultural immersion, and student well-being.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or higher.
- Work permit, permanent residency, or Canadian citizenship required.
- Proficiency in English.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for accommodation inspections.
Summary
As the Accommodation and Student Activities Coordinator, you will be instrumental in enhancing the student experience by managing accommodation logistics and organizing engaging activities. This role requires strong communication skills in English, alongside a valid driving license. You will report to the Student Services Manager and collaborate with various departments to ensure students feel supported and connected. Your core skills will focus on coordination and organization, while your premium teaching skills will help facilitate educational activities, fostering a vibrant community for all students.

Pay: $16.55-$24.00 per hour
