ABOUT THE ROLE
This role presents a mix of financial, administrative, and operational tasks within a global SaaS environment in the solar energy industry. You will handle a wide range of business and sales operations tasks – invoicing and basic accounting, management of relationships with vendors, external consultants, and government organizations, as well as facilitating collaboration with colleagues worldwide. You will also work on budgeting, transfer pricing, and internal compliance, while helping onboard new clients and team members. The position involves very diverse business operations assignments. With training and growth opportunities, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented, resourceful professional who thrives in a dynamic setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee financial transactions and basic accounting tasks such as issuing invoices, tracking payments and receivables, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Coordinate tasks related to commercial business administration, sales support operations, and ad-hoc legal requests with management of Solargis HQ in Europe.
- Support business processes including budgeting, transfer pricing, and accounting review.
- Act as company representative for external parties such as vendors, business services, tax authority, external accounting, lawyers, etc.
- Assist in onboarding activities for new clients and team members, including management of documentation, vendor management and compliance.
- Collaborate on monthly and quarterly reviews, handling tasks related to reporting, payroll, revenues and expenses reporting and expense management.
- Maintain close relationship with administrative and management team in Europe and globally to maintain high standard of business operations.
- Manage company marketing tasks, travel and events logistics, and general administrative duties.
- Ensure data accuracy in various systems, maintaining accurate, verified and clear records.
- Systematic improvement of processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree with exceptional academic results.
- Fluent in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- At least 2 years of work experience in business operations, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to diligently manage tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to manage a wide variety of business operations tasks and processes responsibly.
- High level of resourcefulness and excellent independent problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders in an international environment.
- Knowledge of business software and tools such as CRMs, Excel, Power BI, and QuickBooks are a benefit.
