Project/Field Coordinator at Broccolini:
At Broccolini, we provide a lot of tools, resources, and training for Project/Field Coordinators to set them up for success in their roles. We offer a mentor for all Coordinators to help guide and support them in their role. This role is supportive in nature. Coordinators act as a liaison by communicating with external parties and assisting Project Managers or Superintendents in organizing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects. It is an important role for us.

DESCRIPTION:
The Project Coordinator Co-op will:
- Provide a high-level support in the tendering phase (request, receive and prepare quotes, help prepare and distribute tender packages.
- Liaise with subcontractors to obtain pricing, update trade lists, coordinate and follow-up on plans and shop drawings,
- Manage change orders
- Perform any other administrative project delivery functions.
- 80% of time in the site office, 20% of time in the field
The Field Coordinator Co-op will:
- Act as the liaison between the Site Superintendent and the trade labor force.
- Maintain daily construction log in conjunction with the Site Superintendent.
- Conduct site inspections and project pre-delivery inspections (PPDI).
- Conduct physical checks on labor force. Calculate labor hours per activity.
- Make out requisitions for non-standard items and submit to purchaser.
- Arrange supplies to be delivered to site.
- Check how much material is being requested versus quantity allowed.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, including temporary storage on site.
- 80% of time out in the field, 20% in the site office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in an engineering degree or technical diploma in Construction, Building, Civil or Architecture.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and AutoCAD.
- Above standard time-management, organization, and analytical skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Previous construction experience is an asset but not required.
- Must have access to a vehicle.
