Compensation: 58,000 – 61,950 per annum depending on education and experience, plus a generous benefit and Pension Package
Program & Location: Vancouver office, located at 201-190 Alexandra Street, and various sites as required

About the Job:
Reporting to the Director IT, the Systems Administrator will join our IT team that fulfills the day-today requirements of the IT functions at Atira. This includes assisting with IT projects, serving as the first point of escalation; evaluating technology solutions; working with business and end users; improving security; logging and tracking calls with our partners ticketing system; Assisting the facilities team with service internet providers as it relates to information technology, design, implementation, cable management and remediation of Atira buildings and documenting changes to the infrastructure and business processes; assist with managing IT inventory. automating manual tasks, create/improve small tools that help make team operations more efficient. Administer the IT infrastructure and applications; and other IT services and related duties, as required. Perform IT maintenance activities. Availability after hours or on weekends for one off maintenance or support activities The System administrator will provide technical support in desktop support; Microsoft 365; Intune; Microsoft Azure IAAS; Amazon Web Services Cloud; Windows servers; Networking; Hyper V virtualization (+ others); VoIP phone systems; taking backups and performing recovery systems monitoring and Cloud infrastructure.

You have had previous technical hands-on experience and have taken relevant industry certifications/courses, such as university, college, or more specific technological post-secondary courses. A basic understanding of the network stack and how TCP/IP, DNS, Routing & Switching work together. You enjoy new technology and have a logical mindset. You are eager to learn and have a strong sense of initiative.
Additional Requisites/Assets:
- Having access to a car for site trips is required
- A valid Class 5 BC driver’s license is required
- Demonstrated ability to interact with co-workers in a friendly, outgoing & respectful manner.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Superior attention to detail; ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
