Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with private setup (Insurance based) and possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and case management. This role involves providing therapeutic support to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster emotional and psychological well-being. The Psychotherapist will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a private sector, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for children and adolescents and adults, addressing various psychological issues.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, incorporating research-based methodologies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, including data collection and case management documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for patients, ensuring all aspects of their health are considered.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in pediatric psychology and special education to enhance therapeutic practices.
- Engage with families to provide support, education, and resources that promote mental health awareness.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to continually improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; licensure as a Psychotherapist is required.
- Experience working in an insurance (EHC) based private setting is an added benifit.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to mental health care.
- Proven ability in data collection methods and research practices related to psychological assessment.
- Excellent case management skills with the ability to coordinate care among various healthcare providers.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care with strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiarity with special education principles is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: $54.13-$70.00 per hour
