The successful candidate will perform some or all of the following duties:
· Provide an outstanding intimate customer experience
· Assist clients in selecting eyeglasses by advising on frames, lens materials and technologies based on their needs.
· Assist clients in selecting unique frames according to their personal style, and ensure that frames are coordinated with proper fit, facial and eye measurements and optical prescriptions
· Adjust finished eyeglasses to fit client
· Demonstrate flawless accuracy in taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear, and execution of all details.
· Offer follow-up client care
· Build strong relationships with our clients
· Maintain current knowledge of lens technologies and general optometry industry information
· Maintain presentation standards both on the sales floor and back office as well as the cleanliness of the showroom
· Maintain inventory controls
· May supervise or manage the activities of other opticians or student opticians.
· Stay current on product knowledge and fashion trends in order to drive sales
· Protect company assets
Qualifications:
· Registered as an Optician with the College of Opticians in British Columbia
· Experience in an optical store / lab with optical dispensing experience
· Retail sales experience
· Exceptional knowledge of current optical theory, practices and application of knowledge
· Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of all eyewear, sun wear, and other vision care services
· Ability to communicate effectively to maximize accuracy in the delivery of patient care
· Computer skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
· Great customer service, social and organization skills
· Detail-oriented to ensure flawless accuracy
· Able to project a professional, fashion-forward image
· Have a great attitude while being a fantastic and fun team player
· Have the flexibility to workdays, weekends and evenings for extended hours and/or events.
· Must represent the frankly, brand in a professional manner at all times
