Job Description
Customer Service Associate –
Working in a Mailroom environment, this position is responsible for delivering superior customer service in a prompt, respectful and courteous manner.
Essential Job Functions
- Receive all incoming items, and log accordingly.
- Communication clearly and effectively both verbally and written.
- Sort, deliver and process mail and packages throughout the building.
- Shipping various couriers (Local, National and International)
- Handling time-sensitive material and shipping as required at an Executive level.
- Package perishable items for shipping which require a dry ice package, certificate provided.
- Organize, set-up and clear boardrooms for meetings on demand. Prioritization and time management is essential for this.
- Assisting with other various requests as required
- Escalates more complex issues to the appropriate level
- Operating postage machine and pallet jack (steel toed boots are required)
- Work quickly and accurately.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills
- Capability to stand, walk, grasp, reach and lift for extended periods of time.
- Strong time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient manner
- Proficiency with commonly used Microsoft software programs
- Professional phone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task and lift up to 55lbs unassisted.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and a team environment
