Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes to support our data integration and analytics initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with various ETL tools and technologies. The ETL Developer will work closely with data architects, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that data flows efficiently from source systems to the data warehouse.
Duties
- Design and implement ETL processes using Informatica and other relevant tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand data needs.
- Develop and maintain data models and database designs that support analytics.
- Optimize existing ETL processes for performance and efficiency.
- Monitor ETL jobs for failures or performance issues and troubleshoot as necessary.
- Work with cloud technologies such as AWS to enhance data storage and processing capabilities.
- Create documentation for ETL processes, including technical specifications and user guides.
- Stay updated on industry trends in data warehousing, big data technologies like Hadoop, and analytics.
Experience
- Proficiency in Informatica or similar ETL tools is required.
- Experience with AWS services related to data storage and processing is a plus.
- Strong background in database design principles, SQL, and relational databases.
- Familiarity with analytics concepts and tools to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop is desirable.
- Programming skills in languages such as Java or Python are beneficial.
- Ability to vaticinate future trends in data management and apply innovative solutions.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to smash through challenges effectively.
