Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role involves working closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at improving their mobility, function, and overall quality of life. Experience in pediatrics and acute care settings is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment goals, exercises, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
- Provide support in hospital settings as needed, ensuring a high standard of patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience in pediatrics, acute care, or hospital environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Our ideal candidate is one with extensive rehabilitation knowledge as well as having certification in clinical pilates. We currently have a Pilates Physio in the practice who is in 3 days a week and has full books with as wait list. Plenty of room for growth with cross referrals from the other practitioners. Available days would be Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $37.66-$99.25 per hour
