Job Title: Blood Lab Technician (Part-Time, Weekends)
Schedule: Every other weekend, on-call availability, start as soon as possible
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Blood Lab Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. The technician will perform venipuncture and laboratory hormone analyses using the Cobas analyzer machine, to ensure accurate results. This role requires availability every other weekend and the flexibility to respond to on-call needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform venipuncture to collect blood samples
• Conduct blood sample analysis using the Cobas analyzer
• Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with laboratory protocols.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments as needed.
• Record and report test results on EMR in a timely and precise manner.
• Follow quality control procedures to meet regulatory and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Qualifications:
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating the Cobas analyzer machine.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality assurance protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond promptly to on-call duties.
