The Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) is a dynamic organization committed to advancing the construction industry in the Vancouver region. Representing over 850 Construction Companies in the Lower Mainland, we host over 30 events annually, ranging from intimate member mixers to conferences and large-scale luncheons with up to 1,800 attendees. Our mission is to provide our members with valuable networking opportunities, industry insights, and professional development.
Our office is centrally located at 3636 East 4th Avenue, Vancouver, near the corner of Lougheed Highway and Boundary Road.
Position Summary
Initially reporting to the Director of Operations, this role is responsible for intermediate professional and administrative work handling a variety of tasks, including but not limited to managing and supporting special events administratively through to execution. The position collaborates with the Events Manager on event strategy, development, logistics and execution.

Key Accountabilities
Program Management & Coordination of the VRCA Awards of Excellence Program including planning, organizing, and coordinating all activities involved from the nomination process, project presentations, compiling scores for final adjudication, to preparing information for Press releases and collaborate with events, membership, and marketing for the execution of the Awards of Excellence Silver Reception and Gala events.
Project Management to lead or support special projects utilizing project management tools and strategies. Maintenance and knowledge of project timelines, milestones and deliverables; develop and utilize project management mechanisms for tracking project progress and provide regular reports to team members and stakeholders.
Voting and System Administration, provide primary support for the planning and execution of the VRCA Annual General Meetings (AGMs). Responsible for administering the voting process including preparing and implementation of the online voting platform.
Data Management, develop and implement data administration standards, design and develop data infrastructure to facilitate analysis and reporting. Prepare presentations and dashboards, generate reports and analytics on event participation, member surveys, and event feedback.
Support Events Team with event development and execution, sponsorship processing and fulfillment of sponsorship benefits, collaborate with the Marketing department for the promotion and execution of special projects and events; assist Finance Team with Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable as they may pertain to special projects and events; and perform other related administrative duties as assigned and as needed, including providing support for special projects as assigned by VRCA.
