Human Resources Adminstrative Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Human Resources Adminstrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting all aspects of our organization’s HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and relevant legislation to ensure fair and consistent practices.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviews, onboarding, orientation, and conducting exit interviews.
- Manage and process all WSIB claims efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including Health and Safety, AODA, WSIB, Employment Equity, and the Employment Standards Act.
- Serve as co-chair for the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC).
- Coordinate and deliver training programs to support employee development and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Develop, interpret, and periodically review company policies and procedures to align with best practices and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Administrative or entry HR role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
