Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. As a vital part of our kitchen operations, you will assist in food preparation and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Duties
- Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately after use.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling of food items.
- Support the kitchen staff during peak hours to ensure timely service.
- Participate in maintaining a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
- A background in hospitality or restaurant settings will be beneficial for this role.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
