Duties:
- Perform bookkeeping tasks such as recording financial transactions, including journal entries and general ledger accounting.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide accurate and timely information to management.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
-Monthly GST and Quarterly PST
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.
- Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for financial reporting.
- Utilize accounting software Xero
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other compliance-related activities.
- Stay updated on technical accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or related roles, preferably in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, or similar tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and generate meaningful reports.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
