The Redux Sales Consultant is responsible for acquiring new customers for all Redux Services and providing exceptional customer service to existing clients.
Redux services include sustainable solutions such as used cooking oil recycling, trap grease services, pre-consumer food waste repurposing, bone and fat recycling, and the sale of cooking oil extension products.
Annual base salary $45,000. If sales targets are met total annual earnings (inclusive of base pay) up to $80,000

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Identify and secure potential customers through sales calls, site visits, and by providing information about available services.
- Conduct site assessments to gather service requirements and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Proactively sell sustainable products and services to a targeted customer base as directed by the company, aligning with its mission to provide environmentally responsible solutions.
- Manage the onboarding process for new customers, including account setup, database entry, and maintaining accurate records.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues by identifying problems, providing effective solutions, and following up to ensure satisfaction.
- Promote additional products and services to existing and potential customers by analysing their needs and providing recommendations.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and pricing to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the internal system.
- Collaborate with the team and provide support for training, customer service improvements, and other tasks as needed.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Be available outside regular hours to respond to customer requests and ensure service continuity.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Two to five years of relevant experience, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry. Experience working in or with commercial kitchens is highly valued. A background in sales, particularly B2B sales, is considered a strong asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required. Familiarity with CRM systems or JD Edwards Enterprise One is an asset.
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license and be willing to travel within BC and other provinces.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for engaging with diverse customer bases and delivering effective presentations.
- Flexibility to work hours required to meet business needs, including availability on an ad-hoc basis after regular business hours to respond to customers.
- Sales Focus- Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs, build relationships, and achieve sales targets, with a preference for candidates with prior sales experience in the hospitality or food service industry.
