Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Plumber will work on a variety of projects, ensuring that all plumbing systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations during all work performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting as necessary for the job.
- Valid driver's license is preferred for commercial driving responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
