Position Summary:
St. Andrews Insurance is seeking a dedicated and professional Commercial Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold an R.I.B.O license or be actively working towards obtaining one, and will be passionate about delivering exceptional service to our commercial clients. This role involves managing client inquiries, processing insurance transactions, and providing support to our brokers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Support: Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate information and assistance regarding their commercial insurance policies.
- Policy Management: Process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and new business applications efficiently and accurately for commercial lines.
- Claims Assistance: Guide clients through the claims process, ensuring they understand the steps involved and providing support as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain and update client files and records in the Broker Management System (BMS) with precision and confidentiality.
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with brokers and underwriters to provide seamless service and ensure client needs are met promptly.
- Client Retention: Assist in client retention efforts by providing proactive service, identifying upsell opportunities, and following up on client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- R.I.B.O License (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) or actively working towards obtaining one.
- Previous experience in a customer service role within the insurance industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various insurance products, particularly in commercial lines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using Broker Management Systems (BMS) and other relevant software (e.g., Powerbroker, Epic).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
