We are currently seeking an intermediate infrastructure planning professional with experience with the development, calibration and use of hydraulic models (water/wastewater/stormwater).
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Contribute to water/wastewater/stormwater infrastructure planning and asset management projects and analysis including master plans, intensification studies, infrastructure servicing studies, hydraulic modelling projects and Class EA's
- Coordinate work within larger infrastructure planning group
- Fulfill various technical responsibilities based on your background and experience ranging from, stormwater servicing, water distribution and wastewater collection analysis, cost estimate development, and servicing strategy development.
- Be responsible for key project deliverables including written reports, technical memos, client presentations, modelling outputs and GIS mapping deliverables
- Support project proposal development
- Manage and develop existing and new client relationships
Minimum Qualifications
- Professional qualification or designation
- Engineering, planning, technology, and/or environmental accreditation
- Exposure to water, wastewater and stormwater engineering
- Municipal engineering, design and construction experience
- Experience with Canadian/GTA municipalities
- Experience with servicing analysis and network analysis
- 2 to 5 years of experience with development, calibration and use of hydraulic models with a range of water, wastewater, stormwater, modelling software platforms including: InfoWater, WaterCAD, SewerCAD/GEMs, InfoSewer, InfoWorks ICM, MikeUrban, PCSWMM
- Exposure to GTA master planning and Class EA projects
- Strong overall communication skills
- Ability to participate in and lead multi-disciplinary project teams
- Strong overall software aptitude
- Experience and familiarity with Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
