We are looking for an experienced Staff UI Developer to join our SaaS DDI UI team located in Burnaby, BC, reporting to the senior manager of Software Engineering. In this role, you will develop features for a cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) solution, lead new feature/product development, and enhance the UI application framework. What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with the UX and UI teams to develop new user-facing features for Infoblox’s Cloud UI
- Design and implement reusable components for the application framework
- Contribute to the UI test suite by developing unit tests for all new functions
- Drive key aspects of product definition, execution, and testing through the Agile/Scrum development methodology
- Work closely with backend development and quality assurance teams to deliver end-to-end functionality for a feature
- Participate and lead UI development for new products from deployment to production
- Bring in new tools and ideas to enhance the customer experience
What you’ll bring:
- 12+ years of practical experience programming with standard web technologies, such as JavaScript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, etc.
- Hands-on experience with current JavaScript framework technologies with a preference for Angular 12+ and component-driven development
- Experience designing web applications using MVC and similar design patterns
- Solid experience using CSS technologies and frameworks such as Sass, Bootstrap, and Material
- Hands-on experience with UI build technologies such as NPM and Webpack
- Experience with using REST Web Services
- Experience in microservice architecture and deployment of K8s clusters running in AWS
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Working experience with code versioning tools, such as Git
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
What success looks like:
After six months, you will…
- Be able to lead UI development with other UI engineers
- Bring in new ideas to improve the customer experience
- Be very familiar with cloud technology, K8s, and deployments
After about a year, you will…
- Make a significant contributions to the customer experience by working with architects and UX leads
- Contribute to modern Ul design, keeping customer experience in mind
- Oversee the CSP U.S. time zone, including customer escalations

You can expect our employment offers to take many factors into consideration, including but not limited to the location of the role, internal equity, applicable past experience, individual skill set, education, and professional certifications. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position based in the province of British Columbia is $130,600 - $196,000 plus a corporate bonus.
