Leon’s Furniture, a family-built, publicly owned company, has been part of Canadian homes and families for over a century. We are growing and are excited to offer an opportunity to join our Consumer Electronics team at Leon’s Home Office.
The Consumer Electronics Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Consumer Electronics buying team and ensuring smooth operations. This role involves data management, vendor communications, and coordination with various internal and external stakeholders to maintain efficient workflows and outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Buyer with phone calls, inquiries, and requests.
- Liaise with vendors, store associates, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Reviewing and proofreading marketing flyers and materials to ensure accuracy and alignment to promotional submissions
- Assisting in the planning and execution of product launches and promotions
- Perform data entry tasks using MMHF and POS+ systems.
- Receive, process, and update Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up on ongoing orders and ensure timely deliveries.
- Manage and update inventory for key vendors weekly, addressing issues as they arise.
- Send delivery and tracking notifications to customers, addressing concerns.
- Coordinate with stores to resolve inventory and order-related queries.
- Create and maintain SKUs and web templates for products.
- Generate and finalize vendor credit memos, miscellaneous credits, and monthly reports.
- Verify vendor and freight invoices and ensure timely payment with accounting.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams and freight carriers to manage deliveries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in supply chain, e-commerce, or administrative support is beneficial but not required.
- Proficiency in MMHF and POS+ systems (preferred for internal candidates).
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
