As Foundations Coordinator, you will support a highly integrated curriculum through the planning, delivery and evaluation of courses that features early exposure to clinical content, patients and the community setting. Your ability to work with a committed core of constituents and your adeptness working with online course materials, assessments and evaluations are key to the successful delivery of the Foundations Curriculum. You will draw upon your strong problem solving skills and technical proficiency to adjust to changing circumstances and to adapt to the latest learning technologies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing detailed information on program and courses
- Coordinating the development and maintenance of online course information and organizing and circulating course evaluations
- Providing committee support and coordinating exams/assessments, room bookings and event logistics
- Coordinating the recruitment of teaching assistants, course instructors, lecturers and exam invigilators
- Providing basic support and general referrals to individuals in distress
- Maintaining attendance systems and monitoring online student evaluations for designated courses
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Coordinating tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholders
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
- Minimum two years of relevant experience coordinating academic courses within the University, a teaching hospital or comparable environment.
- Experience coordinating time-sensitive projects and managing multiple priorities
- Experience coordinating course materials, assessment and evaluations, and applying relevant policies and procedures
- Experience coordinating exams, room bookings and event logistics
- Experience providing committee support and updating and editing course materials
- Experience compiling and analyzing data and generating reports
- Demonstrated technical experience working with student information systems, learning management systems and content management systems
- Advanced technical skills, including proficiency with MS Office suite and Adobe Professional
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet a variety of tight deadlines
- Ability to adapt and adjust to changing circumstances
- Ability to assume responsibility and work on own initiative, and also collaborate with others
