Qualifications

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting practice in a mid-sized accounting firm located in Toronto.

Duties

Prepare year end files for compilation and review engagements.
Prepare financial statements for compilation and review engagements including all required disclosures under ASPE.
Prepare corporate tax returns.
Prepare personal tax returns.
Prepare GST/HST returns; trust returns and related CRA filings..
Communicate with CRA on matters pertaining to tax returns filed on behalf of clients

Qualifications

2-3 years experience working in a similar capacity in a mid-sized Canadian mid-sized accounting firms
2-3 years experience in using Caseware, Caseview, Quickbooks
2-3 years experience in using taxprep - T1, T2, T4, T5
2 -3 years experience in preparing financial statements using compilation and review standards and ASPE.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
