Nurse Injector Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Injector to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience with medication administration, particularly in aesthetic procedures. As a Nurse Injector, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care and satisfaction by providing high-quality injectable treatments. Your expertise in medical terminology and familiarity with systems such as Epic will be essential for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring seamless communication within the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Administer injectable treatments, including but not limited to Botox and dermal fillers, in accordance with established protocols.
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs.

Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes using electronic health record systems like Epic.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay current with best practices in pain management and aesthetic procedures through ongoing education and training.
Provide support in home care settings as needed, ensuring patient comfort and safety during treatments.
Assist with phlebotomy tasks when required for specific procedures or assessments.

Qualifications

Current nursing license (RN or LPN) with relevant experience in acute care, assisted living, or nursing home settings preferred.
Proficiency in medical terminology and medication administration practices.
Experience with pain management techniques is a plus.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with colleagues.
Previous experience as a Nurse Injector or similar role is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with phlebotomy techniques is advantageous.

Pay: $50.00-$1,000,000.00 per hour
