Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality patient care in a hospital or acute care setting, with a focus on pediatrics. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve their physical function and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and coordination.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options and home exercise programs.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and outcomes.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.

Requirements

- Assess and treat (MSK) disorders

- Create Plan of Care to suit the clients’ interests and needs

- Regularly chart for the clients’ visits in the Jane Clinic Management System

- Must be a registered member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

- Must have professional liability insurance

- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19

- Experience in pelvic physiotherapy is an asset

- A driver’s licence and access to a car is an asset (for home visits)

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

- Compassionate approach to patient care with strong interpersonal skills.

- References required

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $70.00-$90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
