We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. This role is essential in helping clients achieve relaxation, relieve tension, and promote overall well-being through therapeutic touch.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
Assess client conditions by reviewing medical history and conducting thorough consultations.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns regarding treatment.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
Keep accurate records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical terminology.
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring clients feel comfortable and valued throughout their experience.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.

Requirements

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Proven customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment for clients.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of massage therapy.
