Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed to code and operates efficiently.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Assemble and install valves, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, or drainage systems.
Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
Utilize power tools and welding equipment as necessary for repairs or installations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and HVAC technicians to complete projects.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to plumbing systems.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues.
Experience with power tools and welding techniques relevant to plumbing tasks.
Ability to maintain high standards of quality in work performed.
Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week
