Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and creative Pastry Baker to join our team at Fuwa Fuwa Japanese Pancakes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about baking, have a knack for creating innovative pastries and desserts, and work well in a team environment.

Duties
Prepare a variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, and souffle pancakes following traditional and modern recipes.

- Create new and exciting desserts and pastries to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers.

- Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.

- Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, etc. and make appropriate orders within budget.

- Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.

- Maintain a clean and orderly prep station and adhere to health and safety standards.

- Assist the Manager with general supervision of staff member.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Baker, Baker, or relevant role.

- Great attention to detail and creativity.

- In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and baking techniques and nutrition.

- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
