Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker, to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings, including senior care, hospice care, and assisted living. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized support and assistance.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients with meal preparation and ensure they receive nutritious meals according to their dietary needs.
Assist with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to develop personalized care plans that meet individual needs.

Skills

Proven experience in senior care, home care, or caregiving roles is highly desirable.
Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to specific dietary requirements.
Experience working in nursing homes or assisted living facilities is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining client records and documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.36-$23.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
