Exceptional Minds Adaptive Learning Services Inc. is looking to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist to work with children with ASD and work collaboratively with our ABA team.

This is an independent contractor position with part-time hours to start, with the opportunity to increase hours and clientele base.

We offer ABA training for the right candidate as well as a dedicated room in our centre to work with clients.

The Speech-Language Pathologist will be part of our Clinical team that supports the assessment and treatment of speech, language and communication needs of our clients.

All client sessions will be on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language assessment and intervention for clients with ASD
Manage and contribute to the quality of care to clients by following the professional standards of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists
Support client families by providing SLP sessions as well as providing resources and training to parents/caregivers that will support the on-going development of communication skills at home
Maintain regular contact with client’s families and keep them informed of treatment plans
Maintain on-going communication with ABA team members on updates/progress/goals

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
Experience working with children with special needs is preferred
Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
Experience with providing parent/caregiver coaching
Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) in good standing
