Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our health and wellness collective. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments, disabilities, or injuries to improve their mobility and quality of life. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in both hospital and acute care settings. Experience in pediatrics is a plus, as we cater to a diverse patient population.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance recovery.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Stay updated on the latest medical terminology and best practices in physical therapy.

Requirements

A valid registration to practice as a Physiotherapist, Osteopath or Registered Massage Therapist in the Ontario
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physical therapy practices.
Experience in pediatrics, hospital, or acute care settings is preferred.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements.

Pay: $72,991.72-$128,881.19 per year
